AIR CRAFT

AIR CRAFT

A self-guided, immersive meditative journey for the ears, eyes, mind, and heart

Air Craft was born in the fall and winter of 2024 — a season of searching for stillness, for breath, for a way through.

Drawing on decades of experience as a vocalist for film scores, a composer for dance and theatre, and a liturgical musician, Katy Stephan took a deep breath, hummed middle C into a microphone, and started building. She then sent these creations to violinist and orchestrator Shaina Evoniuk who helped build and shape the music, bringing her signature depth and warmth to every layer.

The result is an hour-long collection of 12 tracks layered with lush strings, wordless vocal harmonies, acoustic piano, and washes of airy synths — a musical soundscape designed to be escaped into.

Air Craft is more than an album. Each track is paired with a video exploring the natural world — no drone footage, no AI, just the un-retouched, unfiltered view of nature you might appreciate on a quiet walk through a park or at the shore.

Each track is also accompanied by a short poem or quote to inspire further thought or meditation. Together, these aural, visual, and contemplative layers form a multi-sensory tapestry that moves from slow stillness at the opening, builds toward the middle, and returns to peaceful quiet by the end.

Air Craft is intended to be used however it serves you — as the soundtrack to a yoga class or meditation session, as an oasis during bodywork, or simply as a way to slow down and breathe. Air Craft is a tool, a refuge, and an invitation to return to yourself.

Keep an eye on our calendar to experience a live, in-person experience — through workshops and retreats in collaboration with healing artists, movement teachers, yoga instructors, and meditation guides. Events range from one hour to four days, weaving live music, visuals, lighting, and the artistry of invited collaborators into something entirely new.
