DUO DORÉ
Violinist Shaina Evoniuk and harpist Amy Ahn draw on rich classical traditions while exploring the full expressive range of their singular combination, from shimmering delicacy to soaring lyricism. Together, they create a sound that is golden in color and warmth — as their name suggests.
Shaina “Violinista” Evoniuk is a Bay Area-based violinist, producer, and composer whose playing moves fluidly between classical precision and soulful improvisation. Described by the East Bay Times as “an indispensable force on the San Francisco Bay Area music scene,” she has a rare gift for finding the emotional core of any song and elevating it. Whether she’s carrying a melody, adding harmonic texture, or driving the energy of a performance, her violin brings depth and feeling that transforms an acoustic cover into something uniquely her own.
Amy Ahn is principal harpist of the Stockton Symphony and a nationally award-winning harp soloist whose career spans a wide range of musical genres and contexts. As a distinguished ensemble musician, she has collaborated with San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Ballet, San Francisco Contemporary Music Players, Stanford Jazz, among several orchestras in the West Coast. In 2023, Amy won third prize in the American Harp Society National Competition and a top prize in the Busan Maru International Music Festival Concerto Competition. Learn more →
